Question of the Week #7

What do you miss most about being a kid?

I'd have to say I miss watching Nick-at-Night with my grandma.

No responsibility.

No jobs.

Summers off.

Sleeping in.

Cookies and Milk after school, freshly made by Mom.

Sleepovers.

Living the carefree life, day in and day out.

Ditto the no responsibility!
I miss family members that have passed on. I miss the memories of being a kid. I find the older I get, the memories fade more and more and I wish I could go back to recapture them, just so I could better remember them now.

Walking downtown with my older brother and getting penny candies and baseball cards at the Drug store. Then walking home over the railroad tracks.

The other day I was thinking about how much I miss sleepovers. Those were the best!! My friends and I would sneak into the kitchen to get midnight snacks because we thought that adults actually did that every night. LOL! We were so funny.

What are you talking about, Amy, we grown ups DO sneak into the kitchen for midnight snacks!! I may miss being a kid, but there are a lot of perks to being a grown up!

I miss going camping with all of my extended family. Also, going on vacations to see my grandparents and hitting the early morning yardsales with my grandma on those vacation weekends. Good times, but I still think I'm a kid.....even though I'm married and in college.

Bein' a kid...I'm still a kid! I may be 28, but I feel 16! And am I really old enough to have two children?! I am currently sitting with a plastic bandaid thing on my wrist..Dr Carter just gave me shots. :( But really...I miss sleeping in!

I love being a "grown up."

Playing make-believe. I could make up stories and talk to myself for hours. I do it now, and I feel like a goof!

I miss having "little" sisters. They are teenagers now and when they were little, I took it for granted because I was just a dumb kid.

I'm not in your R.S., but want to answer. I miss how time seemed to move so slowly. Days were long and summer lasted forever.
