Question of the Week #17

What is the ugliest thing you currently own, and why the heck do you still have it? (animals ok . . . people, not ok).

People NOT okay? Well there goes my funny comment...

I seem to collect ugly things by default because my storage space is full of them. I have an old, dusty rooster platter that I got for a wedding gift (it was OBVIOUSLY a regift) but I'm hanging onto it because it's going to make an awesome regift for someone else. I also own some really ridiculously ugly shirts, but I kinda look hot in them sooo I'll keep them around a while longer...

I refuse to own ugly things. I've been know to throw away clothes that are ugly, we get lots of hand me downs for Carter, some of which are so ugly I would never dress a dog in them, they find their way STRAIGHT to the trash, not even DI worthy. However, now that I'm thinking about it...I totally dyed an entire load of towels some sort of pink shade, don't ask how, cuz I don't know. Trent wouldn't let me throw them away, they are NASTY looking!

A $3 rug from Ikea that is neon green and red. I bought it. Don't know what I was thinking though.

Unlike Janel, I'm kind of addicted to ugly things. I have a hideous orange, red, and green robe from India. I guess I haven't gotten rid of it because I inherited it from my mom, used it in a dance concert once, and Ammon really hates it. ;)

All of my current maternity clothes! It's probably not eco-friendly to burn them in a couple weeks...

Hailey, you're maternity clothes are adorable! As for me, my post-maternity wardrobe in its entirety is pretty doggone ugly. I'm looking forward to chucking it all and getting new stylish stuff. If only I had any style sense...

I have a black jacket, the collar and sleeves are lined with ostrich feathers. I love it, but one of my BFF's told me it was the worst mistake I ever made.
