Question of the Week #20

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so let us all be thankful."

~Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism, 563-483 B.C.

My family, a place to live (even though it's just renting for now), clothes (because I don't look good without them), the Gospel, and good books to read!

My oldest brother was in a really bad car accident the other day, and I am just so grateful no one died. Everyone walked away from it. So I guess I am grateful for big trucks, and my brothers love for his truck so that he would decide to take it, instead of using his friends small car. (other car t-boned them at 40 mph. It threw the 1 ton truck about 60 ft). But really, I am grateful that the Lord watches out for us, and keeps us safe, even when people make really big, silly mistakes. I'm grateful for Matt. I can't say enough about him. I thank the Lord everyday for him, his patience, his incredible love for me, and his cute face that I love to kiss! I'm thankful for my mom who taught me that all my woes and anger, and every unhappy situation can be handled in such a way that will cause peace. I'm thankful for my dad who has taught me the value of work and honor, especially when others poor choices affect our lives in serious ways. I'm endlessly grateful for the Atonement, because I mess up a lot, and really need a lot of help, and the feeling of repentance is the most beautiful feeling in the world. Finally, I am grateful for people who inspire me to be a better person, and who encourage me to do so.
