It's hard to only list a few.

1. The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger

2. The Shack - William P. Young

3. Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand

For a fun, easy read, "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli. It's a family favorite and there is a sequel but I have not read it yet.

"The Wednesday Letters" by Jason F. Wright

"Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hossein.

I know that's technically 5 books right there...sorry! Like Kenna said, it's hard to list only a few!

My mother is the queen of literacy. I love reading, but I don't remember the details like she does and I don't challenge myself into a diverse book often enough. Here are the latest (not necessarily the best):

Ida B-Katherine Hannigan
The Wee Free Men-Terry Pratchett
The Mysterious Benedict Society-Trenton Lee Stewart

All of these are juvenile literature. They are fun and quick and witty and clean. I guess that is why I enjoy them so much. I am really loving The Mysterious Benedict Society. I always hope to write a book and I'm amazed by the organization and clever ideas within these books.

Only three!

My all time most favorite: Jane Eyre- Charlotte Bronte

One of my favorite authors: Sannon Hale (Goose Girl, Book of a thousand days, river secrets.....)

Something we are reading aloud right now: Whales on stilts- M.T. Anderson (so funny! children's literature- my kids don't get all the jokes-sometimes Barry has to explain but it's one of the only things we've read aloud that draws him in too. you have to check it out and read it out loud.)

taking a list of everyones suggestions with me to the library next time.
