I was (am) terrible at basketball, so in 9th grade PE I would just knock people over pretending to be sporty. Hence I was dubbed Bulldozer by my friend Nikki.
I'm not telling you. It's my kid nickname from my Mom--no cool story, it's just lame. But I will tell you my Grandpa used to call me string bean. It was because I was the full definition of lanky when I was 12.
I have a terrible habit of trying to figure out tv shows/movies/books, whatever, whilst watching/reading them. Problem with this, especially with movies, is that I do it out loud, (example: oh I TOTALLY bet it was the ex boyfriend's evil neighbor that did it because of the way he twitched when blah blah blah) and it's totally annoying. Ask Josh.
Anyway, my pals gave me the nickname, Holmes. Like Sherlock Holmes. I've had it for years and years, and I still answer to it.
My baby sister calls me 'Rutabaga'. BUT she's the only one who does it, and if other people start she'll get back at me. My favorite general nickname was from this lady in my homeward who would call everyone 'Sugar' with this sweet Louisiana accent. I think she just couldn't remember everyone's names, but I liked it anyway.
The only nickname I've ever had was "Kricket." I called myself that when I was little because I couldn't say my name. It embarassed me when I got older so I made my parents stop. I regretted it later because I missed it.

Why aren't there any more questions of the week? I miss them!
